Good Hospitality Goes a Loooong Way
The Women of New Salem's Women's ministry were responsible for serving the family of Pastor James Morgan and his church family during their time of bereavement. Many brothers and sisters commented that they'd never been to a more beautiful homegoing service. What was just as impressive was the fervent hospitality of the ministry as they came together to minister to the family through physical nourishment during the repast. Our guests were so grateful and in awe of the general "nice-ness" of the women. They talked about the tasty food as well as the treat they received when one of the women in the ministry came to their table with sweet tea and a smile. Under the direction of our ever-put-together President, the women's ministry of New Salem rolled out the purple table cloths and extended service and hospitality in love to our guests of the hour(s). It was wonderful to see the women in purple t-shirts working together. Keep up the great work, ladies!
